Dear Editor, Excuse me for writing to you at this time when your mind must be on other matters than the painting of Gush Shalom personnel as 'traitors'. I had thought that El Haaretz was the paper of record in Israel - as respected as the Times here in the UK. For you to collaborate with extremist politicians to delegitimise the best hope for peace for Israel, to label someone a 'traitor' just because they are against war crimes and the indiscriminate targeting of civilians - this ranks you with the book burners, the white-sheeted pointy-heads in the US, and the worst sort of ignorant nationalists that your country, my country or any other country has produced. I believe that Gush Shalom are the shining light hidden under the heavy bushel of Zionist nationalism, and you do yourselves and your country a great disservice by maligning them.
