Into a fortified position
Forbidden to Muslims.
The “Cave of Machpelah”
Which is also “Ibrahim’s Mosque”
Has become the nest of
Baruch Goldstein and his admirers.
Instead of serving as a
Model of inter-religious tolerance,
Both symbolize now the “heritage”
Of hatred and death.
