Thieves in the night

In the middle
Of the night
15 settler families
With heavy police escort,
Came to Silwan
In East Jerusalem,
And established themselves
In Palestinian houses.
By the morning, there were
Blue-and-White flags flying
From the roofs,
And armed guards
Deployed all around.
One more stage accomplished,
In the process of Judaizing Silwan,
And expelling the Palestinian inhabitants.
All this happened on
Holocaust Memorial Day.
Not that the thieves saw
Anything wrong with that…
