4) About compensating the farmers whose olive trees were cut

As for the Palestinians whose olive trees were cut and severely damaged by settler 
hooligans (see Oct. 27 message "Cut Palestinian trees and settlers 
attacking RHR delegation documenting it"), Rabbis for Human Rights 
have announced that they accept earmarked donations.

So, you can send a check in your own currency or cash wrapped well in extra 
paper to: Rabbis for Human Rights, 42 Gaza Road, Jerusalem 92384, Israel 
and don't forget to add: "Compensation damaged olive trees."

[Meanwhile we of course hope that the Israeli government and guilty parties 
eventually will remunerate, but it may last too long (if it will happen) for the afflicted 
families.]
