A debate about Lara alQasem's being allowed after all to enter Israel and study at Hebrew University and the postponed demolition of Khan al- Ahmar was held on Sunday, Oct. 21 at the studios of ILTV , the Israeli network broadcasting worldwide in English. The extreme rightists Eithan Meir of Im Tirzu and the "Orientalist" Dr. Mordechai Kedar. - frustrated on where both issues now stand - were countered by peace activists Rabbi Arik Asherman of Torat Emet and Adam Keller of Gush Shalom in a more and more Israeli style debate. |
